The JWG staff and students are very thankful to the JWG Community and the School Council for raising money to support our students in the school.  Money was allocated, by vote, to the following areas, for enhancing student programs.  FI Home reading, FI Grade 4 classroom library, English Home reading, Outdoor learning area, Core French subscriptions to little books, and a Guided Reading Kit to supplement current kits and address the needs of our large primary population.  A large number of proposals for funding were presented to Council at last night’s meeting and a great deal of discussion and solution decision-making occurred before decisions were made.

We all want to thank our parent community for your ongoing support of the fundraising initiatives and let you know that we appreciate the resources provided.  We know how lucky we are to be at JWG.
