Earth Rangers is The Kids’ Conservation Organization dedicated to educating children and families about biodiversity and encouraging them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats.
The Grade 1-6 students will have the opportunity to hear the Earth Rangers and see four different animals, all found in Canada, who need our help in order to survive. There will be two presentations on Feb. 11. From 12-1, the Grade 4-6 students will attend, followed at 2:10-3:10 by the Grade 1-3 classes.
You are more than welcome to join us if you have some time and interest. Please be sure to ask your children what they know about the Western Bumblebee, the Barn Swallow, the Beluga Whale and the Blanding’s Turtle.
A special thanks to Michael Harris, MPP, for bringing this presentation to our school.
We all look forward to hearing what we can do to protect our animals and their habitats.
