On January 4th, teachers will be meeting to plan and prepare for the upcoming week (January 5th to January 8th). By the end of the day on January 4th, your child’s teacher will be sending out information regarding the schedule for the upcoming week. We encourage all families to participate in the first Google Meet to learn about the activities for the week. If your child is unable to attend the meeting, please feel free to join any meeting during the week.

If your family is interested in participating in our “low-tech” option, please send an email to your child’s teacher. The “low-tech” option includes one phone call or Google Meet with a teacher from J.W. Gerth Public School between January 5th and January 8th. You will also receive a list of activities through School-Day that your child may complete.

Should your child need to borrow a device, please email jwg@wrdsb.ca, with your child’s name and their teacher’s name. The plan is to deploy the devices by Tuesday, January 5th. Once your child’s device is ready for pick-up, you will receive a message through School Day.
