Dear JW Gerth PS Families,

This morning you will have noticed a significant police presence in the area near our school as police investigate an incident.

Waterloo Regional Police have assured the Waterloo Region District School Board and our school that there is no threat to public safety.

Our school is operating as normal today and we will be following our regular routines. As a precautionary measure, we are keeping our students inside for the day.
