We have just experienced our first bad weather day. Thank you to all of you who called in your child’s absence. When buses are cancelled it has very little impact on our school day as we have under 40 students on the bus. Classes proceed as usual. If you choose to keep your child at home, please call the attendance line and leave a message. 519-748-4159, Press 1 or by email jwg-attendance@wrdsb.ca. Both of these options are available 24 hrs per day/7 days a week.

In addition, if your child arrives to school after the 9:10 am start bell, they MUST come to the office to be signed in and given an admit slip before heading to class. It is very important that your child arrives on time.

Our priority is the safe arrival of your children and your cooperation in following these procedures will help to greatly reduce the number of unnecessary phone calls our office needs to make in order to ensure the safety of your children in a timely manner.
