Dear Parents/Guardians

We know you love to volunteer and we appreciate your help!  You are an integral part of our school community and we definitely need and welcome you.

There has, however, been a change to the requirements for volunteering.   Our Board now requires,

“Prior to volunteering, submit an original copy of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) if supervising students that are not in direct proximity of a staff member or if deemed necessary by the Principal”.

This means that all volunteers should attend Police Services in the area in which they reside, with two pieces of ID and complete the application form.  Typically these checks cost $25.00, however we can provide a letter for you that secures the discounted price of just $10.00.

If you are intending to volunteer, please come in and pick up the letter as soon as possible, or call the office and they can send one home with your child.   These Vulnerable Sector Checks can take up to three weeks to be completed.
